About Lori Elldee

Welcome—I'm so glad you're here.

My name is Lori, and I’m an artist and educator based on unceded Darug land in Australia. I’ve been teaching Visual Arts in high schools since 2009, but my journey with art began much earlier. In Year 11, I experienced the transformative power of art through a teacher whose raw authenticity and passion lit a spark in me. That spark became a calling—to teach, create, and honour the deep connection between self, story, and Country.

I am formally trained, holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts, but the heart of my work has always come from lived experience—what I feel, witness, and carry. My style is shaped not by formal technique alone, but by the rhythms of my life, my connection to nature, and the emotional landscapes I move through.

This space is dedicated to my abstract acrylic paintings—works that are ethereal, immersive, and deeply grounded in the natural world. I draw inspiration from earth, water, and flora—those quiet, sacred elements that invite stillness, breath, and presence. My pieces explore the beauty of connection: to nature, to the Dreaming, and to the sense of peace that emerges when we truly slow down and listen.

For me, art is not just something I do—it’s something I need. A way to express what lives in my heart and soul. A way to find rhythm, colour, and language for things that words alone can’t hold. I paint to connect, to share, and to honour the moments that move me.

I believe art should be for everyone—something that can live in your home, speak to your spirit, and bring joy without being out of reach. That’s why I offer a range of original works as well as high-quality art prints in different sizes and finishes, making it easier for more people to access and enjoy art that speaks to them.

My work lives in homes across Australia, Germany, Great Britain, and the US. I’m currently working toward my first solo exhibition in 2026, and I’m so grateful to share this part of my journey with you.

Thank you for being here.
